The Arabic language.

arabic language is very important if you want to be a student of knowledge. the best book to start with is the madinah arabic book series. it is a good book which helps the non arabic speakers to learn the arabic language.


and while i am talking about this i just want to remind that there are some brothers when they want to emphasize the importance of the arabic language they often say that it is the language of the Jannah... Sheikhul Islaam ibnul Qayyim said in his poem al kaafiyyah ash shaafiyyah aka his Nooniyyah that it is da3eef in the part where he talks about the describtion of jannah.

i would recommend after studying book one and two, to go straight to Aajuroomiyyah and leave book three.
the best sharh for this is the sharh of sheikh ibn 3uthaymeen and the famous book called tu7fatus saniyyah. there is this explanation simple for the beginners

Seeking Knowledge

Asalamu 3alaykum wara7matulaahi wabarakaatuh.

Bismillaah wasalaatu wasalaamu 3alaa rasoolillaah amma ba3d

Indeed there are a lot of virtues of seeking knowledge and enough for us is the saying of Allaah sub7anahu wata3alaa

قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ‌ۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ

"Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh's Signs and Verses)" Zumar:9

And also the Saying of Allaah

(إِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ (٢٨

It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is All¬Mighty, Oft¬Forgiving. Faatir:28
