Asalaamu 3alaykum wara7matulaahi wabarakaatuh.
Asheikh Abdullah al Ghudayaan passed away on Dhuhr on 1st june 2010 We ask Allaah 'azza wajal to have mercy on him aameen and verily the passing of the scholars means that day of judgment is close, so it is upon us to seek knowledge because we all know the hadeeth that knowledge will be raised by the deaths of the scholars until there will be no knowledge left. Sheikh Saalih bin Abdul'Azeez Aal Sheikh Hafidhahullah said that knowledge will lifted and the juhaal will remain because there will be no students of knowledge. if students of knowledge sought knowledge from the scholars the knowledge would remain. So seek knowledge you don't know when the Ummah might need you and your knowledge. We all know the story of the great sahaabi ibn 'Abbaas radia Allaahu 'anhu when his friend told him don't worry about seeking knowledge because the sahaba are many today, So ibn Abbaas left this man and kept continuing his journey of seeking knowledge, until the time came when the Ummah needed Ibn Abbaas, he started giving the fataawaa, people would line up to him to ask for fatwa, so one day the same man who discouraged ibn Abbaas from seeking, came to ask for a fatwa, so he was told to go back to the huge line, when he came close enough to see the scholar he realized the scholar was ibn Abbaas, so he said " The boy was smarted than me "
So as Sheikh Saalih Aal Sheikh said " Seek knowledge oh Shabaab!! you never when the ummah might need you "
